Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 Release Dates & All Other Details
At the end of September 2021, Grey’s Anatomy, the longest-running ABC show of all time, will be halfway through its eighteenth season on the network. We’ll go through when Grey’s Anatomy season 18 will be available on Netflix around the world.
The new season of Grey’s Anatomy will premiere on September 30th, 2021, and is expected to be near to its pre-COVID-19 episode count of over 20 episodes, however this has yet to be verified.
This season also saw the departure of several series regulars, including Jesse Williams, Giacomo Gianniotti, and Greg Germann. However, it’s not all bad news: Kate Walsh made a guest appearance in season 18.
When will Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 be available on Netflix in the United States?
The good news is that the Grey’s Anatomy Netflix release schedule has remained quite consistent throughout time. As a result, we can make a fairly good guess for when Season 18 will be available on Netflix. For the past few years, every season has come in May, June, or, at the very latest, July.
Is Grey’s Anatomy available on Netflix in other countries?
Season 18 of Grey’s Anatomy was supposed to arrive on Netflix in Latin America, Canada, and several Asian territories in 2022.
However, it appears that this is no longer the case, since we’ve been informed that the series is departing Netflix internationally. As previously reported, on January 1st, 2022, a number of major Disney shows (primarily under the 20th Television label) will leave Netflix internationally. Every season of Grey’s Anatomy will be ending on January 1st.
If you live outside of these areas, it’s unlikely that Netflix will continue to air the show. Instead, Disney has decided to include the series as part of its Disney+ Star service.
Is Grey’s Anatomy on its way out of Netflix?
Despite repeated speculations to the contrary, Grey’s Anatomy does not look to be leaving Netflix anytime soon.
It’s also worth noting that the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off Private Practice left Netflix US after two seasons in December 2021.
