Next ‘Dead By Daylight’ Killer Is Sadako And Is From The Ring Franchise
Dead by Daylight is no stranger to the people of high-profile crossovers. Some of the icons like Leatherface, Freddy Krueger, and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill are the characters that have joined the game’s roster in the years since its release in 2016. One of the most important things that you need to know is that you can add Sadako from Kōji Suzuki’s cult-classic horror novel Ring to the list. It has been found that Sadako is soon going to join Dead by Daylight on March 8th.
Probing further, she is going to join Dead by Daylight on March 8th at the time when the developer Behavior Interactive releases the Sadako Rising DLC. However, the studio is yet to share out many details on the game’s latest playable killer other than this. But yes, they have promised that she is going to bring out a greater emphasis on psychological horror just to match that she is part of Dave Richard, the creative director of Dead by Daylight. This is all that has been said by Sadako, known as The Onryō in-game. There has been use of some of the creepy and surprising gameplay mechanics. Hence, this is something very much interesting.
So, if you are a fan of the Ring franchise, you can also look forward to the DLC adding Yoichi Asakawa as a playable survivor. In case you have seen the best original 1998 Japanese adaptation of Ring, you will definitely remember Yoichi as this is the only character to survive his encounter with Sadako. He is now an adult and a marine biologist as well in the search for answers. Therefore, it is a very unusual way to continue the story of a character but Behavior Interactive is best received with the blessings of Kadokawa Corporation, the company that produced the Ring films.
Meanwhile, we would say that Sadako Rising will be there for the people to play on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Windows Store.
